This is a promtonal book for Fedrigoni’s ‘Sior Black Paper’ range aimed to be sent out to posible clients. The idea was to sell how black this paper actually was and I did so through comparing the paper to The Mariana Trench “The deepest darkest place on earth”. I recreated the the actual trench in the book through different cut layers of the siro ultra black paper.

A response to the ISTD brief to rebrand the Design Museum. My rebrand idea is based around the Museum moving to it’s new building. I wanted to keep the design contemporary to fit in with the museum itself. The design is based around the sharp angles of the architecture of the new building, mainly focusing on the triangle shapes made by the roof. I wanted to use colour to break up the building’s areas into sections, so that people could identify what area of design they are looking at straight away from the colour they see in that section.
I focused a lot of the rebrands visuals on a pattern I had created using the small triangle from the main logo design. I also kept the same colour scheme throughout so it was easily recognizable and also gave the museum a more playful inviting image.
A response to the D&AD Monotype brief: ‘Use the power of type to create a new visual language for film advertising’. These are a set of three posters for a Martin Scorsese film event. I wanted each poster to relate to one of Scorsese’s films but not shout out what the film was straight away. Each poster is themed and linked in their own individual way, with each poster’s type having a different response depending on the movie they’re portraying.

Book cover concepts for a new series of Penguin science-fact books. I chose to give the books a more modern minimalist look to contrast with the existing original covers. Giving each book a lot of white space with an abstract image on it’s cover relating to the books content, also giving each book it’s own colour scheme.
